Get Involved

Youth 5-8

Youth who are between the ages of 5 and 8 years old by December 31of the program year are considered Primary members.

 

Primaries may still participate in certain projects and events that do not have a minimum age requirement. 

Youth 9-18

4-H Members must be 9 years old by December 31 of the program year, and may be a 4-H member until the end of the calendar year that they turn 19.

4-H offers a range of leadership development and volunteer opportunities for members.​​

Adults

Without adult volunteers, there is no 4-H. Adults can volunteer in a variety of roles such as project leaders, event chaperones, and as resource leaders within the 4-H club.

​

New volunteers must complete all volunteer training.
